Golden Guarantee
At Golden Details, we value the trust you place in our services and the investment you make in protecting your vehicle. Our commitment to uphold the advertised longevity of our ceramic coating services, assuming comprehensive preparation has been conducted, is demonstrated through our Golden Guarantee.
Our Golden Guarantee is your assurance that your vehicle's coating will stand up to the test of time. To maintain the guarantee’s validity, we advise an Inspection and Maintenance service every 180 days from the date of the original service. Remember, longevity is also influenced by the care you provide, so we urge you not to abuse or neglect the coating.
Actions that may compromise the coating include:
- Using car washes equipped with brushes and/or neoprene.
- Primarily using touchless automatic car washes
- Improper hand washing
- Infrequent washing (less than once every 30-45 days)
- Using inappropriate chemicals such as dawn dish soap, industrial degreasers, industrial acids, and carnauba wash & wax soaps
Should your coating require correction or repair due to premature wear or failure, costs may be prorated, contingent upon an inspection and the timing of your most recent maintenance interval.

Our Golden Guarantee extends coverage for failures attributable to our craftsmanship for up to 9 years, depending on the package chosen. Failures due to environmental contamination will be assessed and addressed based on an inspection and the last maintenance interval.
Please note that the Golden Guarantee does not cover failures resulting from normal wear and tear. A well-maintained 3-year coating might begin to show wear between 20-30 months. Factors such as storage conditions, maintenance intervals, and frequency of use may affect the overall longevity of a ceramic coating.

Pricing
All of our pricing is listed as the starting price as the condition and size of the vehicle can affect the final price. Polishing is highly recommended prior to the application of any multi-year coating but is not a requirement. Golden Details backs non-polish, multi-year coating services for 12 months regardless of the coatings longevity rating.
Polishing
While polishing is not a required step before applying a coating, it can be beneficial in order to achieve the finest end result. An enhancement polish can bring out more gloss, remove oxidation, and correct minor scratches, swirls, and marring induced by the clay bar process. If a coating is applied without polishing, it will effectively seal-in any remaining defects while providing amazing gloss and water repellency.
Deposit
We understand that things come up and want to make sure you have the flexibility to reschedule. That's why we require a non-refundable materials deposit to reserve your service. If you need to reschedule, your deposit will be valid for 45 days after the initial service date before being forfeit. The only exception for the non-refundable deposit is if Golden Details needs to cancel the service with no possibility of rescheduling. In this rare case, we'll refund 50% of the deposit for your ceramic coating service. We appreciate your business and look forward to providing you with an exceptional service experience.
Longevity
At Golden Details, we are happy to offer the Golden Guarantee for our Golden ceramic coating services. We are confident that, with proper care and maintenance, our coatings will meet or exceed their described longevity. It is important to keep in mind that the longevity of a coating is subject to many factors, such as storage conditions, care frequency, washing techniques, and frequently using automatic car washes of any type. Yes. Yes you do. A protective coating offers more than just high gloss! It makes washing your vehicle and protecting the delicate clear coat an absolute breeze. Whether you have a daily driver or a garage queen, Golden Details has an option for you!
Not exactly.
A ceramic coating can help prevent light scratches and wash-induced marring but nothing other than PPF (Paint Protective Film) will save your paint from 60MPH rocks and runaway shopping carts.
Yes! The best way to maintain your new coating is to hand wash it 2-4 times a month. Once a month, at least, is required to maintain the integrity of the coating. A touchless automatic wash is better than nothing and, if it's all you have available to you, a traditional wash tunnel may be utilized. The coating will degrade faster if an automatic car wash is utilized to maintain the coating and Golden Details will not guarantee any repair work if the coating is not properly cared for.
